This article is true in so many ways. Young girls only know what they read in books and what their family members talk about. How many times have you heard a young girl say "mommy look at me I'm a princess!" They grow up with an ideal image of beautiful princesses getting rescued by the handsome prince and carried away to their castle. This is in no way the same as reality. These powerful messages tell girls that women need to be beautiful to get far in life. This may change girls opinions on surgery to make them more attractive and make up products along with different clothing styles. These fairy tales are changing the minds of young children to make them believe that everyone needs to be beautiful but thats not true. People can be beautiful inside and out and girls don't need a book to tell them otherwise.
